1. Who we are

NoFeeds is operated by GSAKAAL TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED. This policy explains how information is handled in the app and on this website.

Our privacy representative is Gurkaran Singh. For privacy questions or support, contact gurkaran@tryakaaltech.com.

2. Instagram and X in NoFeeds

NoFeeds displays the official Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) websites in an in-app web view. You sign in directly with those services. No separate NoFeeds account is required.

Your sign-in and messaging requests go directly to Instagram and X, not through a NoFeeds server. NoFeeds does not maintain a separate store of your passwords, login tokens, messages or attachments. The product analytics described below do not include your credentials, message text or web-page content.

If you choose to include information from a conversation in a feedback report or screenshot, that information is sent with your report as described under Feedback and bug reports.

Instagram and X handle information under their own privacy policies. You can read the Instagram privacy policy and the X privacy policy.

3. Web-view cookies and logout

The web view keeps the services' session cookies on your device so you can remain signed in. These cookies are managed within the system web view. NoFeeds does not maintain a separate store of your messages or login tokens.

Use Logout from Instagram or Logout from X on the NoFeeds home page to clear the corresponding local web session. Logging out does not delete information held by those services or cancel your NoFeeds subscription.

4. Screen Time and media permissions

Screen Time permission lets NoFeeds protect the apps and associated websites you select. It is optional: you can skip it and use NoFeeds Pro messaging without app blocking.

NoFeeds stores your protection choices, weekly allowance and timed-unlock records on your device to enforce those settings. This is not a copy of your full Apple Screen Time activity report. Product analytics can include setup results, permission outcomes, protection actions, allowance values and unlock durations, as described below.

When you choose a messaging feature that needs your camera or microphone, NoFeeds may request the relevant permission for a recognized Instagram or X website. Selecting an attachment may open Apple's photo picker. These media permissions are separate from Screen Time permission.

5. Product analytics with PostHog

We use PostHog to understand how NoFeeds is used and where setup or product flows need improvement. Product analytics is enabled in the release app and does not currently have an in-app opt-out switch.

Analytics includes randomly generated device and installation identifiers; app, operating-system and device information; app launches; named app screens and the time spent on them; and selected actions such as onboarding, permission outcomes, protection setup and timed unlocks. We use these events for product analysis and troubleshooting.

The identifiers are not your Instagram or X username. The device identifier is stored in the device's Keychain and may survive reinstalling the app; the installation identifier is stored with the app. Signing out of Instagram or X does not reset these analytics identifiers.

We do not send passwords, message text, web-page content, full browsing URLs, or your feedback text and reply email to PostHog. Session replay, touch recording, screen capture and automatic exception capture are disabled. IP-based location enrichment is disabled for NoFeeds analytics events.

NoFeeds sends these events to PostHog's US ingestion service. Information is processed under our configuration of the service and PostHog's privacy policy. For privacy questions or requests concerning information held by NoFeeds, contact gurkaran@tryakaaltech.com.

6. Purchases and subscription access

Apple processes App Store payments. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore subscriptions and determine whether NoFeeds Pro is active.

RevenueCat receives a generated app-user identifier, purchase and transaction information, product and subscription status, and technical app/device information needed to provide its service. No separate NoFeeds account is required. This billing information is separate from your Instagram and X accounts and messages.

Apple handles your payment details; NoFeeds does not receive your full payment-card details. For more information, see Apple's privacy policy and RevenueCat's privacy policy.

7. Feedback and bug reports

We use Wiredash for feedback and bug reports. Submitting a report is optional. Your report can include written feedback, screenshots you choose to attach and an optional reply email. Reports also include technical context such as app version, device/platform information, environment and SDK-generated identifiers so we can investigate the issue.

Review screenshots before sending them: a screenshot can contain information visible in the app, including conversation content. Do not include passwords or verification codes. Feedback text, screenshots and email are not passed to PostHog.

Wiredash's SDK also sends operational usage information, including its automatic first-launch event and usage pings. These are separate from submitting a written report. See Wiredash's privacy policy.

Unfinished reports can remain as local drafts until discarded or submitted. Submitted reports may be queued on the device and retried when connectivity returns.

If you email gurkaran@tryakaaltech.com, we receive your email address and the information you send so we can respond.

8. Advertising, tracking, and location

NoFeeds does not sell information, share it for advertising, or use it to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Product analytics within NoFeeds is described above.

NoFeeds does not request your device's location. Network requests to our service providers necessarily expose connection information such as an IP address; the app disables PostHog's IP-based location enrichment.

9. This website

This website does not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, registration, contact forms, or tracking cookies. Its fonts and visual assets are served with the website.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or requests about data held by NoFeeds, contact Gurkaran Singh at gurkaran@tryakaaltech.com. Logging out of a social web session does not delete analytics, submitted feedback or purchase records held by service providers. Requests about information held independently by Instagram, X or Apple should be directed to the relevant service.
